Of many things I learned from the fire department, one that stands out is that every incident leads to a review and implementation of changes to policy and procedures, if required, in order to preserve life or structure.

The same principle applies in business and is generally covered in the Terms & Conditions of agreement.

As a business, the T&C’ s are there to protect you from the actions of current and future customers based on the actions of past customers.

For your customers the T&C’s of the business exist to protect them by ensuring the business is protected from rogue customers ensuring it has longevity to serve their needs into the future.

As a business owner you should review your T&C’s on a regular basis to ensure you are protected.

Should you have a negative experience in a contract, check and implement changes to those conditions as a means of controlling similar outcomes in future.
